ALLA PRIMA

A blank canvass leaning, pure and white
Holding my dreams, soaring at most height
With brush at hand that hungers for color
And passion that blazes like fiery ember.

As the tip of the brush made it’s first stroke
Barrier of impossibilities, finally broke
Colors dance in the siren of heart’s glee
Image came to life, a blissful sight to see.

Now here I am, about to paint my road to success
Challenged by this world I thirst to impress
Will my gift and courage be sufficient?
To this path I made, will I be prudent?
